PUBLIC NOTICE OF A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE WELDON CITY BOARD OF EDUCATION

The Weldon City Board of Education will hold a specially called Board meeting on June 13, 2024, beginning at 5:00pm. The purpose of the meeting will be to hold a closed session to discuss confidential personnel matters pursuant to G.S. 143-318.11(a)(1)(3), -(5), and –(6).
This meeting will be a wholly remote meeting. Members of the public may view a livestream of the meeting on Weldon City Schools YouTube Channel (https://www.youtube.com/c/weldoncityschools). Members of the public who cannot view the meeting through electronic means may come to the Central Services Office, 301 Mulberry Street, Weldon, NC, to listen to a livestream. The only parts of the meeting that will open to the public for viewing are the initial call to order and agenda approval, the motion to enter closed session, and the meeting adjournment.
